The Fountain Party
Family, relatives, and genealogy will always be important to me. A highlight was getting family members together for the 100th birthday party of the building of the town fountain in my hometown — Newville, Pennsylvania.
The fountain was built with funds raised by a group of public-spirited men and transferred to the Borough of Newville on June 1, 1807. Since 1913 the Newville Civic Club has planted flowers in the urns they purchased for the fountain.
